For almost 20 years, Charles Feldman was a CNN investigative correspondent in New York and Los Angeles. He remains active as a journalist, co-hosting KNX In Depth, a news and interview program on KNX News Radio 1070 in Los Angeles, where his recent interview subjects have included former FBI Director James Comey; House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff; the president of the American Medical Association, and a variety of medical researchers and political figures from around the US and the world.
A frequent academic lecturer, Feldman is co-author of the acclaimed media book No Time To Think: The Menace of Media Speed and the 24-Hour News Cycle (Continuum Publishing, New York and London). His co-author is Howard Rosenberg, who won a Pulitzer for media criticism while at the Los Angeles Times.
Feldman has covered some of the biggest US stories in recent decades, including the criminal and civil trials of O. J. Simpson, and the Michael Jackson child molestation trial. Following the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, Feldman was the lead investigative reporter covering the terrorist attack and its aftermath, and the first journalist to report on the FBI discovering evidence in the bomb debris that led to the arrest of the suspects who were eventually convicted.
Prior to associating with Dunlop Media, Feldman was co-principal of Feldman/Spurgeon Group, Inc., based in Los Angeles, specializing in media preparation, crisis counsel, and video production. His confidential client list included law firms, doctors, corporate CEOs, government agencies, and numerous private individuals.
A licensed private pilot, Feldman is often called on as an on-air aviation expert. He also has an extensive print background, having written for such publications as New York Magazine, Parade, The New York Post, The New York Daily News and Boston Magazine, and for online outlets such as the Huffington Post. He maintains an independent blog of news, commentary and political satire.
Feldman is a former adjunct professor at the USC School of Journalism. He lives in Los Angeles.
